The harbour and its surroundings offer opportunities for learning for all ages and in many forms:

  • There are interpretation panels in many locations providing information on such topics as the history of the harbour, wildlife, trade, and wind farms.
  • Informative excursions are available on the Thames Sailing Barge Greta.
  • Sailing tuition is available at the adjacent Whitstable Yacht Club.
